The principle for all these machines is the same, namely positioning of printing forms by means of 2 cross marks or microdots etc., that are perpendicular to the making direction of the web. By means of 2 cameras, that are exactly parallel to the shaft of the cylinder, the marks are being shown on a split screen monitor. Each camera registers half an image on the left and on the right, so that on the left half of the monitor, half a cross mark from the left-hand side is shown, whereas on the right side, the right side of the right cross mark is visible. The two halves then make one complete cross mark, meaning that the plate is mounted perfectly horizontal.

By using our patented computer system, we can reduce the most complicated mountings of several printing on one cylinder to a simple methodology. By positioning both cameras width-ways and by turning the plate cylinder in any division desired, both staggered and straight mounting can be done very simple.
This high-technology has been 'packed' in a very solidly built machine and guarantees, even at the largest cylinder length, the best results close to perfection!
